PUSH.
Thomas is a C5 quadriplegic who races marathons with his arms. If you make gear, back athletes, or book speakers, he wants to hear from you.

THOMAS CLOYD / CHICAGOONLY.
26.2.
NO MOTOR.
NO SHORTCUTS.
Fourteen years ago a dive off a boat broke his C5 vertebra. Seven years ago he pushed his first Chicago Marathon.
He races in his quad rugby chair, a chair built for a different sport, with no hand controls and no motor. Just his arms, every push of the way. He has trained through the Bay Area, Minneapolis and Chicago, finished Chicago three times, and took forty-two minutes off his time between 2022 and 2025.
In Berlin in 2025 his race stopped at mile 17. On September 27, 2026 he went back for all 26.2.
He is also one half of Math vs Vibes, a show where he and Eric bet on real questions and keep score. Berlin is its latest episode.
Every race day, with times: the record.
